Business Award
Gurkha’s was named Best Restaurant at the 2024 Mayor of Lewisham’s Business Awards, an event celebrating outstanding local independent businesses and recognising those driving economic growth and creating new opportunities for the community.
To mark this achievement, alongside their 25th anniversary in Sydenham, Gurkha’s hosted a special celebration honouring both milestones, a quarter-century serving the community and their recognition as Business of the Year.
The occasion drew an impressive gathering of local dignitaries, including councillors, the Mayors of Lewisham and Greenwich, local MP Ellie Reeves, and even the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves.
This achievement would not have been possible without the community’s unwavering support over the years. The entire Gurkha’s team wishes to express our deepest appreciation.
